My lovely friend Sarah was over in the UK recently and brought me back a few pieces of Soap & Glory Makeup, which are not available here in Canada, so I thought I would share them with you. I knew I wanted to blog about them, but didn’t have a chance to take pictures of them for almost 24 hrs, and it was so hard not to swatch/use them before I took the pictures (beauty blogger problems).
I’ve read/heard a lot about the Soap & Glory Makeup from British Bloggers/Youtubers, so when Sarah asked me what I wanted from the UK, I jumped on the change to get my hands on some of the favourites. I ended up getting Glow All Out, Kick Ass Concealer and a Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Quad.
The Glow All Out powder was the item I was most excited to get my hands on. It’s a pink highlighter that Soap & Glory describes as “a Luminizing Radiance Face Powder”, I’ve only used it once, but it seems to give your skin the most amazing glow, without any glitter (which is key for me).
Next up, I got the Kick Ass Concealer (how awesome is that name), which many people say is a dupe for the Laura Mercier Undercover Pot. The Kick Ass Concealer features a yellow toned concealer, a pink toned concealer and a pressed powder, all in this adorable little pot. I’m excited to try this out, especially the pink toned concealer for under my eyes.
Finally, Sarah grabbed me the Lid Stuff Eyeshadow Quad in “What’s Nude” and oh my goodness am I excited to use this. The colours are absolutely gorgeous neutrals (which are my favourites), and I’m so excited to try them out. I like that they are mostly matte colours, with a nice shimmer thrown in.
So there you have my lovely little collection of Soap & Glory Makeup, I’m so excited to try these out and see if they live up to the hype. I can say, my initial thoughts are they are amazing, and I’m going to definitely have to find a way to get my hands on more of their makeup products.
Have you guys tried Soap & Glory Makeup? What are your favourites?
